Credentialing Process A clear, step-by-step guide to obtaining your GHCWCA credential, from application submission all the way through to Global Registry listing. Step 1: Application Submission Create your account through the “Get Certified” section of our website. Select the credential you wish to obtain (e.g., GCMSST, GCRT, GCET). Complete the online application form and submit the required documents (e.g., education certificates, transcripts, training records). Pay the non-refundable application fee to initiate processing. Step 2: Primary Source Verification (PSV) We verify all submitted credentials directly with the issuing institutions. Education records, training certifications, and clinical logs undergo Primary Source Verification to guarantee authenticity. Additional documentation may be requested if required for verification. Step 3: Review & Evaluation Our credentialing committee evaluates your qualifications based on: Accredited training and educational credentials Verified clinical or practical experience Completion of applicable prerequisite requirements If any gaps are identified, we’ll notify you promptly with instructions for completion or remediation. Step 4: Examination (If Applicable) Certain credentials require successful completion of a GHCWCA certification exam, which assesses your knowledge, skills, and professional competency. Exam details: Format: Online or in-person, depending on your location and credential type. Content: Standards-based questions that reflect the scope of practice and global best practices. Upon passing, you’ll be awarded the credential and can proceed to the next step. Step 5: Credential Issuance & Digital Badge After successful verification (and exam, if applicable), your credential will be issued and accessible in your member dashboard. You’ll receive a digital badge, optimized for sharing on platforms like LinkedIn, resumes, and professional profiles. A printable credential certificate will also be available. Step 6: Global Registry Listing Your name and credential will be added to the GHCWCA Global Registry, an internationally recognized directory of certified professionals. This enhances your credibility and visibility to employers, licensing bodies, and healthcare institutions worldwide. Need Assistance?
