Certification Routes
At the Global Healthcare Workers Certification Association (GHCWCA), we understand that professionals come from diverse backgrounds. That’s why we offer multiple clear and flexible routes to certification—so you can earn your GHCWCA credential through the path that fits your experience and current role best.
Route 1: Accredited Training Program
- Graduate from a GHCWCA-approved or accredited program in your field.
- Submit official transcripts or completion certificates during your application.
- Skip verification of clinical hours (if the program already includes sufficient practical training).
- If applicable, complete the GHCWCA certification exam.
Ideal for recent graduates or those transitioning from formal educational programs to certification.
Route 2: On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- …with verifiable clinical or on-the-job experience in your chosen field.
- Submit a comprehensive log of your experience, validated by your employer or supervisor.
- Your OJT record should include detailed dates, roles performed, hours worked, and scope of practice.
- Documentation may need primary source verification, particularly for international or cross-border submissions.
- You may also need to pass the GHCWCA certification exam based on your selected credential.
Best suited for experienced professionals who have gained competence through direct practice.
Route 3: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
- Already hold a national certification or proficiency endorsement from a recognized board or institution?
- Submit official documentation of your certification for evaluation.
- If proof of equivalency is confirmed, you may be fully or partially exempt from training or exam requirements.
- GHCWCA may require additional bridging modules or competencies to align with global standards.
Perfect for certified practitioners looking to elevate their credentials with international recognition.
